The 500th Reformation Celebration logo was designed to reflect this important event in history. The cross in the circle represents Christ in the world. It is offset to the left of the circle forming a “D” on the right side of the cross. The “D” which is the Roman numeral for “500” connects the logo to the celebration’s 500th anniversary. The logo was designed by Eva Lube, a Graphic Design student at Concordia University.

These crosses are made by The Cross Makers of Seward, Nebraska, a group of men and women who give of their time to create these hand crafted wood palm crosses to extend God’s richest blessings to you. As of April 2016, the Cross Makers have made over 60,000 crosses and shipped them all over the world. Each cross is handmade to fit the hand. No two are alike. Each cross measures approximately 3.5″ by 4.5″ by .75″ high. The Cross of Life brings comfort as it is held in the hand helping one to acknowledge the blessings and love of Christ. These crosses have brought comfort to those in the hospital, nursing homes, and in the military. They make a heartfelt gift to those suffering from cancer, heart disease or other affliction. Pregnant mothers hold them during childbirth and later give them to their children. Those who are depressed, anxious or worried find comfort in their contemplative nature.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
